About the Founder

I grew up in a house that never felt calm—chaotic, uncertain, never a sanctuary. From an early age I longed for simplicity, peace, and beauty in the smallest things. I discovered how rituals—tidy spaces, a warm meal, the soft glow of light, a comforting scent—could shift everything and make life feel more bearable.

That pursuit of sanctuary shaped my path. I went into real estate to help others find homes, bought my first at 18, and even owned a bakery where I found joy in creating small comforts. Candles gave me that same purpose: simple creations with the power to fill a room with calm, warmth, and memory.

When I couldn’t find candles that matched my values—clean-burning, lasting, and beautifully designed—I began making my own. What started as a hobby and gift-giving has grown into Bean Candle Co. candles that serve the space between wellness and design, crafted to be as healthy as they are elegant.

Hand-poured in Sewickley, PA(suburb of Pittsburgh) each candle reflects the balance of grit and grace, creating the sanctuary I once longed for—and sharing it with others who crave the same.
